Paintball Smash 2
by admin on Jul.15, 2009, under Paintball Games
The sequel to Paintball Smash, Paintball Smash 2 again stuns players with its 3d graphics. This game has a more tournament feel to it, but still keeps its unreal tournament first person shooter style. Players play a deathmatch game on an airball field using customized paintball markers created by candystand. This game is somewhat addictive and it definitely the best 3d gameplay I’ve seen for not only browser based paintball games, but all browser based games.
Paintball Smash

Paintball Smash is a quake like shooter game in which a player runs around and eliminates opponents. In a player vs cpu setup players can pick up bonuses and new weapons. The game play is much like a basic shooter in which you have health and getting shot makes you lose a small portion. You can pick up health packs to regain health. The game is overall pretty neat, but not very realistic when it comes to paintball. The graphics are amazing for a browser based game. The game runs smooth and I didn’t experience any lag.
High Velocity Paintball

Originally this game was paintball-net and was practically the original multiplayer paintball game. A somewhat complicated mud, players must use text commands to complete many transactions as well as the ability create macros for movement and shooting. High Velocity just re-released the original version of the game and it took me back to a trip down memory lane. A not so realistic interpretation of paintball players can buy all sorts of equipment from scopes, to jet packs, grenade launches, and invisibility cloaks. The game is free to play but you will be capped at a low level until you get a paid account. Paying unlocks more game time and lets you advance the ranks. There are even tournament series which you can play in and win game items and in game cash.
Digital Paintball for Half-Life/Half-Life 2

Perhaps one of the best 3d paintball modifications ever made was Digital Paintball for Half-Life and Half-Life 2. Digital Paintball allowed players to join a server, pick their preferred gun, paint color, and jersey which they could wear and use on a wide variety of realistic paintball fields. From woods ball to hyperball, to replica tournament air ball fields, Digital Paintball had everything. This was the best game out when I first played this one before any paintball games came to console. It has its bugs and glitches, but for the most part this game was pretty rock solid.
